What constitutes eligibility: 25 years have passed since an artist released their first single or album. This makes the cut-off year for this group 1990.
800 plus members of the music industry will receive ballots and this year, The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame will allow the public to vote on nominees between October 8th and December 9th at their website.
Look for the induction ceremony broadcast to be held in April 2016 on HBO. See the full list of nominees below.
