Roy Acuff – country/gospel singer/songwriter/fiddler – known as “The King of Country Music” – was synonymous with the Grand Ole Opry – regular appearances on Hee Haw – 1962 became the 1st living inductee into the Country Music Hall of Fame – (9/15/1903- 11/23/1992)
